Join us for a fun, low-pressure way to check out the league, meet new people, and enjoy a night of bowling—no experience required.
Join us for an afternoon of swimming, BBQ, music, games, and time with fellow bowlers as we enjoy summer together outside of league night. Whether you plan to swim, relax by the pool, bring a dish to share, or just stop by to socialize, we’d love to have you there.

We welcome all bowlers 18+ regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Never bowled before? No problem! All skill levels are encouraged to participate, play, and volunteer.
We're so much more than just a bowling league. Parties, volunteering, workshops? We've got it!
September 13th, 2026 to December 20, 2026 (15 weeks). Registration will open in August.
Sundays at 6:00 PM, practice at 5:50 PM
The cost is $20 per week, which includes shoe rentals.
Originally founded in 1990, GALA Bowling League is a Rhode Island nonprofit dedicated to fostering inclusive community through sport. Our vision is to create a safe and inclusive environment where people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, can participate in a competitive and friendly team sport, develop a social support system, and build lifelong friendships.
